Greg: From Esteemed Customer to Expert Vendor and Curator

Greg is one of Raleigh Furniture Gallery’s most treasured customers-turned-vendor, with a longstanding relationship that began with his frequent visits as a passionate buyer as soon as the Gallery opened in 2011. After establishing himself as one of our best customers, Greg transitioned into consigning his own pieces, quickly earning a reputation for his impeccable taste and ever-rotating inventory. His expertise and eye for unique finds led us to invite him to become our very first vendor, a role he has excelled in ever since.

A Pratt graduate with BFA degrees in both Fine Art and Interior Design, Greg brings a distinctive and eclectic style to Raleigh Furniture Gallery, blending historical antiques with contemporary gems. His area in the store is a curated showcase of fine china, sterling silver pieces, and one-of-a-kind lighting that never fails to catch the eye. Greg’s items come from all over the country, and some even from his personal collection when he decides to refresh his own home décor.

What truly sets Greg apart is his vast knowledge of furniture design, history, and functionality. He’s always eager to share his insights with customers, turning every interaction into an educational experience. Shoppers often leave not just with a beautiful piece but with a newfound appreciation for its background and significance.

When he’s not sourcing new treasures or sharing his expertise at the gallery, Greg enjoys the vibrant life Raleigh and Chapel Hill has to offer, and relaxing in his carefully curated home accompanied by his fluffy feline companion, Phestus. Together, they bring a touch of New York flair to the Southern charm of Raleigh.
